College football transfer portal: Oklahoma signs QB General Booty
Oklahoma earned a new motivation from the university soccer transfer portal as quarterback Typical Booty pledged to the Sooners this offseason.
Booty, a 6-foot-3, 195-pound sophomore from Tyler Junior School in Texas, arrives at OU with 3 more seasons of eligibility.
Booty hails from a outstanding soccer spouse and children. His father is former LSU large receiver Abram Booty, his uncle Josh was a previous quarterback at LSU, and a different uncle, John David, played quarterback at USC less than coach Pete Carroll.
Common Booty went to four unique high universities, including two in California and two in Texas, ending in the Dallas spot.
Mostly overlooked as a high college recruit, Booty elected to play junior university, throwing for 3,115 yards and 25 touchdowns, position second in the nation among the NJCAA players.
In one game, Booty passed for 528 yards and eight touchdowns.

Booty comes at OU at a second when the program desires to acquire its depth at the quarterback position underneath initially-calendar year head coach Brent Venables.
