CHICAGO (AP) — An Iowa guy was in custody in Chicago on Tuesday right after police discovered a rifle with a laser sight in a resort place that overlooks a Lake Michigan beach front for the duration of the July 4th vacation weekend.
Authorities say a member of the cleansing workers at the W Hotel informed law enforcement on Sunday they noticed the rifle, a handgun and ammunition in the room held by Keegan Casteel, 32. The weapons were being located on a 12th flooring window sill. The window experienced a look at of Ohio Street Seashore and Navy Pier, a major vacationer attraction.
