Russia puts general Aleksandr Dvornikov in charge of Ukraine invasion: reports
Russia has set basic Aleksandr Dvornikov in demand of its invasion in Ukraine as Moscow’s forces regroup just after failing to seize the Ukrainian cash of Kyiv, in accordance to the BBC and The New York Instances.
The BBC was 1st to report Saturday that the normal was appointed to head Russia’s ongoing assault on Ukraine, citing Western officers.
Prior to Dvornikov’s appointment, no central commander was directing Russian forces on the ground in Ukraine, the Situations claimed, citing U.S. officers.
A State Office spokesperson told The Hill they would not comment on the standard being set in cost of the Russian invasion but explained “it’s apparent this war has not gone in accordance to plan for Putin – a swift victory has been stymied by Ukraine.”
