up to 130,000 Points and a $100 Credit

There’s been a deluge of increased credit card offers recently, and now Amex has launched another new bonus on three of its Hilton co-branded credit cards — the Hilton Honors American Express Card, Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card
, and The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card.

While you won’t earn as many points as with the most recent offers, these bonuses include either Hilton statement credits or a waived annual fee which can help you save on out-of-pocket costs.

Even if you don’t plan to travel right away, there’s no harm in stocking up on points now to use later on. Hilton points do expire after 15 months of account inactivity, but having and using a Hilton card makes it easy to keep your points from expiring.

The Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card is now offering a bonus of 130,000 points after you spend $2,000 in purchases in your first 3 months of card membership (offer expires 8/25/2021). The annual fee is $0 intro for the first year, then $95 (offer expires 8/25/2021).

Normally, the card doesn’t waive the annual fee in the first year, so this is a good deal if you want to try it out and see if the benefits and earning rates suit you at no cost for the first 12 months.

With this offer, you’ll earn enough Hilton points for up to 26 nights at the lowest category Hiltons (although those 5,000-point properties are few and far between).

More realistically, you could redeem your points for a shorter getaway at a mid-tier Hilton property (30,000 points per night), or splurge on a night or two at a luxury Conrad or Waldorf Astoria hotel.

Along with earning lots of Hilton points, the card comes with automatic Hilton Gold elite status, which comes with perks like room upgrades, bonus earning on stays, and complimentary breakfast (right now it’s a food and beverage credit). You’ll also receive a free weekend night (valid at almost any Hilton hotel) if you spend $15,000 on the card in a calendar year.

Cardholders also receive complimentary Priority Pass airport lounge membership with 10 free visits per year.
